mom doesn’t like my tattoos…
I know that. I didn’t get them to piss her off, I got them because they’re meaningful to me and I love them. So when I wear shirts/swimsuits that show the tattoo on my back, it would be really nice if she would just tell me that she doesn’t like to see them, and she’d appreciate it if I’d try to keep them covered. I would be completely fine with that! But telling me “I wish you’d wear more clothing when you’re out in public” makes it sound like I’m dressing inappropriately, when I most definitely am not! And instead of encouraging me to cover my tattoos, it makes me want to flaunt them around her.
it just seems rather immature of her to have my dad come tell me that she freaked because she doesn’t like to see my tattoos. I would take it much more seriously and value her opinion a whole lot more if she’d tell me to my face.
I love my best friend (but I wish the same attitude and affection would come from someone that's not in high school......)

- Parker: that when I graduate and if you're not in a serious relationship that I will have a chance
- Me: that was a promise?! oh jeez. haha hm four years from now. we shall see.

- Me: that doesn't mean yes

- Me: it could very well mean no
- Parker: also true
- Me: you'll probs be in a serious relationship by then
- Parker: lets hope so
- Me: haha why!
- Parker: why what?
- Me: why do you hope you're in a serious relationship by then, obvs. bc you don't want to have a chance?
- Parker: no I do I'm just saying that I hope 1) you will have found someone special because you deserve the best 2) that I will have found some girl by my senior year that I care a lot about
- Me: wellll I was totes just playing devils advocate with that comment but that's a pretty dang good answer haha
- Parker: yeah I notice you did dick but that's how I feel. haha I want my baby girl (best buddy) to be happy with a good guy and not a dumbass, a guy who will respect you and whatnot
- Me: haha well I can't come up with any kind of argument for that. this is why you're one of my besties :)
